I messaged this girl on facebook?

I messaged this girl and she seen it right away but didn't answer then today I messaged " happy new year " and she answered but then I tried to message her again. She saw it but didn't answer. She also liked 2 of my timeline photos. What do I do and why isnt she answering me? I'm trying to get to know her cuz I'm going to her school next semester which is after winter break. Thanks in advance.

Well, you said you're going to her school next semester...so I'm guessing she doesn't really know you? If that's the case then that's why she's not replying to your messages. You're kind of a stranger so she may not feel comfortable talking to you.

I suggest backing off. Wait till you start at the school and try to talk to her in person and get to know her like that. Then she'll have no problem replying to your messages!
