Facebook used to be fun now it's got so boring nobody talks anymore nor likes what's posted even though you don't post much why has Facebook got so boring ?

when you look at the real benefits of facebook - you will find nothing - it's an advertising platform but advertised as a place to be in contact with your family/friends.... only the sad people with no outside life need this tool.

Well it was launched in 2004, 10 years ago. I'm not surprised that some people find it boring now. It's not my friends that I dislike, I love my friends very much, but none of us are "Facebook" users.

In my opinion, "Facebook" is just a malicious piece of software which uses your information to make money, it's really just a marketing product. That is why we have mobile phones... Facebook is not and never was a necessity. God I miss the old days when it didn't even exist. Call me "gay" or whatever you like, but, in my honest opinion, I wish "Facebook" did not exist.

Let's not forget how "Facebook" was really invented. Back in 2004, the so called "founder" Mark Zuckerberg used his friends idea of a social network to make "Facebook". Not to mention all the privacy concerns regarding "Facebook". Ugh, as far as I'm concerned, there is no such thing as "Facebook". I still live in the 20th century.

Now don't get me wrong, I don't dislike the entire concept of online communication itself, I myself have built my own social networks which are exclusive. I don't use "Twitter" or "Tumblr". I like these other social networks, but I do NOT like "Facebook". I think the interface that "Facebook" has is a little too complex, I mean you get all these dumb advertisements and game requests etc. I think it's over done. I also think it is over RATED. If someone asks you if you have an account and you say no, they might give you a strange look as if to say "why not"? I admit it does frustrate me how over rated it is, as if the world will end because you don't have one. Nonetheless, I try not to think about it. I think life is great without it.
