Do people actually buy facebook pages? Or is it a scam?

I have a facebook page, NOT PROFILE, like a page that you like, and dont really put to use, and someone is offering to buy it from me for about 800 dollars. Is that a scam or not? I really need to know.

Believe it or not, people actually buy Facebook pages. But it depends on who is offering to buy it, the may or may not be scamming you. Make sure that you get the money before handing over your admin rights. If they are actually trying to buy it. I suggest that you don't give it to them unless you need the money. Because most likely, they will just put links to the groups they own ALL over it.

This is probably a scam. No one would ask you to sell a page for a hefty sum of 800 dollars. Facebook makes millions from these pages. It would be facebook who would buy, not someone whose identity you don't know. Beware of such scams.
