Or are some criminals/crimes less 'sensitive' than others?

How about " Driving while pakistan". 6 months ?

"Driving while in possession of a simian brain". Deportation ?

"Driving with 12 kids jammed in the car",12 months ?

Innocent 'till proven guilty ,of course.

Those are police state/martial law tactics. People who have been charged should not have their employment jeopardized before they are found guilty.
