Can I take off timeline on Facebook?
So I don't know how timeline works, but I didn't ask for one nor do I want one. But today when I went on Facebook I had one and it says it goes live in a week....can I not do timeline and stick to the regular old profile? If so, how because I have this timeline crap. Thanks!

You cant get rid of it once it activates for everyone.
Despite over 80% of the facebook userbase not wanting the timeline it is going ahead as apparently most facebook updates have a similar early responce of over 80% people not wanting it, and then a year later people can't imagine facebook without it.

Sorry but you will just have to get used to it. I also hate it along with over 80% of facebook, but you can't get rid of it.

No, there's no way to undo the Timeline upgrade. Although for the moment Facebook did not make a clear statement in any of its official pages about how the upgrade would be deployed, and as a consequence there is a lot of false information going around, experienced users know that Facebook upgrades of this size have never been optional.

Besides, there are clear evidences that indicate that there will be no way to go back to the old Profile. Take a look at the article in the source to see what those evidences are.
