I have a verizon samsung s4 and am trying to switch to straight talk, can someone take me through the steps?

well i was told that my phone would work on straight talk, i even did the compatible thing on the website and it said my phone would work, when i put the SIM in my phone i don't have service but i got the message from them saying my activation was successful, yet i don't have service.. my phone does say "Non-Verizon SIM This SIM card is from an unknown source." I am super stumped and i tried calling straight talk reps but it seems that they don't know what I'm talking about. if i could just have someone who is actually good with phones and understands most of this stuff help me that will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Did you go to the Straight Talk website to trouble shoot the problem you are having? If this does not help, go to the Straight Talk facebook page, they may be able to help you a little better than calling the Straight Talk customer service phone line.
