How do I stop text msgs. from my cell phone from facebook?

I have searced the facebook page but I can't see how to stop the text msgs. from coming to my phone. I don't want them and not aware that I requested it, Thanks. Mary

Go to your account settings, and edit the notification settings present in there

then change as fit.

Simply go into your account setting and go to notification section where you can see some options relate to notification. Facebook giving you option to get notification of comments, like, friend requests etc via email, phone. So just set your priorities accordingly and you will get the solution!
