Do you have to have the internet to get apps on your blackberry?

So... I have a contract for my blackberry phone that is unlimited texts and 100 minutes, £15 per month - NO internet. Does this mean I can't get the apps onto my phone from the blackberry app store??? And can I use the pre installed apps, like facebook and flickr without having to pay for the internet?

i don't have the blackberry but i think any phone would require internet access to download apps and use programs like facebook and flickr. if your phone has wifi tho then there's no problem just go to a wifi hotspot to get on the internet.
