What should I wear to a nightclub?

My friends and I are going to a club in Hartford, CT tonight. The club's Facebook page says "Fashionable and neat attire," which is really vague. I have a dress from Forever21 that's just a tight black dress with 3/4 sleeves. Is that too plain? Or too sophisticated? I was thinking of wearing it with nude heels. Can I put my hair up, or should I leave it down? (it's really really long, about to my hips)

Hi- I think the dress is not too formal and will be great for clubbing. You could always wear a biker jacket or faux fur vest to play it down further. I like the nude shoes too- patent is great for evening. You can accessorize with gold/silver finish.
Hair wise, being that long it might be best to get it in a messy braid to keep it all together:-
