Facebook timeline; how to tell who was on your page?

I know that before I had timeline, the friend list that appeared on the left side of the screen were the people who were recently on my page; activated by a computer. On your timeline, where it shows pictures of friends just in small little boxes clumped close together, are they also on your page a lot? Maybe just accessing it through another device? (Yes I am aware that the friends that are on your page the most are shown in larger boxes, much more visiable on your profile.

I wouldn't believe everything in the link above.

My top 8 is never people I search for, or stalk. If that was true there would be a completely different set of people up there right now.
