Am I blocked or has the person deactivated his or her account?

Today when I opened my fb messenger,my friends name dissapeared and it was showing the name facebook user without any photo,and the link to see the timeline was also gone..then I opened fb and searched their for 1 min that person's profile showed but when I clicked on it it said content not available...then I opened 2 accounts of my 2 friends and searched for him,firstly it didnt show him but after 7 hrs wen I searched again from my and my friend's account it showed just his photo no info about mutual friends which was there once and it was just blank with his picture no other info...add friend option was there..but the messages in messenger or fb still has no pic and shows as fb user...but his pic comes down in the search but very down below...im just confused to wat is happening. ..If I wad blocked I wouldnt see him in the search and if he deactivated he shouldnt be in the search,but this happens not only wid my account but my friends account too who has some mutual friends with that person...but there it shows no info as I mentioned earlier...plz help

I have had lots of crazy stuff happen like this...

1 it was a facebook glitch
2. a friend accidentally deleted their account!
3. a friend intentionally deleted their account to get rid of a stalker or an ex husband
4. a friend got mad at me and deleted me!
5 a friend's account got hacked

Send them a message and ask if everything is ok...and if you like them, tell them that they can 'friend' you again when they get everything sorted out. If they never friend you again, write them off!

Your friend deactivated his account and opened a new account.But as you are a friend with the old account thats why their is no photo and I guess you could not enter into his account from your messages.As the account is new he didnot added any info in it.
