can't sign into yahoo messenger why?

I have been trying sign into yahoo messenger since morning it not working but i can get access to my yahoo mail so i try changing the password still i can sign into the messenger but have the yahoo mail on...please help me with this my little problem it sucks..been trying don't know whats the problem is..

Mine is down too..so yahoo has got some kind of issue going on...they are non responsive though...go to their twitter account and barrage them..maybe that will help...
