I'm trying to build my very first PC.?
I decided that I wanted to build my very first PC. The only problem is that I pretty much don't know what I'm doing.I'm trying to take it slow here because I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars for something that doesn't work. I have components in mind, but like I said I'm just starting.

Chassis: RAIDMAX SMILODON ATX-612WBP Black
Processor: Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo)
Graphics Card: PNY VCGGTX7704XPB-OC2 GeForce GTX 770 4GB 256-bit
DVD Drive: ASUS DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS Black SATA 24X DVD Burner
Hard Drive: Seagate NAS HDD ST2000VN000 2TB 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s Internal Hard Drive
RAM: Crucial Ballistix Tactical 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900)

I got this all from newegg.com and the price is $1,160. I wan't to know if everything is compatible with each other or if it's a very noobish build. I'd be happy to hear any suggestions on a better and more efficient build. I'd even be more impressed if it was a pretty decent build that's under $1,000. Also anything that I missed out? Not like the obvious like the monitor and keyboard,
Lol Sorry, I had a motherboard in mind, but forgot to list it.

Motherboard: ASUS Z87-A LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Also the power supply comes with the Chassis. 500W.

I also got wanted to get 16 because I'm hearing some games already need 8 GBs to run efficiently. Like this years Far Cry 3.

Yea, you forgot the motherboard... also, 16GB RAM is pretty useless, you should probably lower it to 8GB.

buying a pc is cheaper, while when a card is not working correctly or even is not working you have to buy a new one and some companies that sell computers have an option to select some wishes you want to have in your computer

and a computer fabricated by the trademark company check also the correct working of the board and the installed memory video and other systems

do you understand the meaning about this SDRAM DDR3 1866 and 4GB 256-bit

Right now HP Envy's are on sale for about the same price and with an i7 processor and 12GB of RAM. If you want build suggestions go to PCGamer.com or MaximumPC.com or ExtremeTech.com. They have different flavors of builds that they have tested that work so you don't have to guess. Usually they have 3 different price ranges. Watch the NewEgg Tutorials on YouTube to learn good practices for building. I have been building for 25 years and it isn't really cheaper. But you get what you want. The reason I build is to get the type of machine I want because when you start customizing commercial machines they do get pricey.
