My facebook doesn't display notifications?!?

I have gone through the account settings and all i want is to know is if there are any changes in my wall, messages, or photos. i receive the emails, but there is no notification on my facebook page that informs me of any change at all. PLEASE HELP ME FIX THIS?!?! thank you in advance for your answers!

at this time face book is a popular place for a new worm of some kind that is pretty serious. once i get the info again i will send it to you. they say it is harmful to the computer

r u sure u checked ur settings coz u can alter da options der
u should go 2 settings
click on notifications
if u want 2 recieve notication from pics,coments,tags n all dat click on
if not den click off

It is not your facebook settings!!! I ran into the same problem you did and my solution was very simple. I'm going to take a guess and say you're using Mozilla... Mozilla is a good web browser but some versions on a few different computer do not display all of the the screen even when expanded. I noticed that sometimes i could see the very tip of the notification box but for the most part it just never showed up... My solution would be to definitely get a different web browser; I would have to recommend D/L Google Chrome!!! Best Browser and has a lot of options and features. It will take you 2 min and you will be pleased. & at least you will see your little red box on the bottom right side of the screen.

Try this:
Go to your facebook and click on INBOX. Under inbox, there should be a tab that says NOTIFICATIONS and check to make sure that the things you would like to be notified about are clicked on. If you can't find thes options here and you have the new facebook chat center located in the bottom right hand side of your screen...click on the notification tab there and click SEE ALL (in the top right hand corner of the pop-up box). You may be able to select it there. If this still doesn't work, email f/b or just continue to check your profile and such to keep yourself updated.
