Facebook Top 10 Friends "List"?

I still have a FB Wall instead of a Timeline and I was wondering how the friends on the left hand side of my profile are generated. I heard that they're the people who view my profile the most. Others say that it's just random. HOWEVER, I'm thinking that maybe it really IS who views my profile the most, because ppl show up that I never even contact or look at but I know that they look at my profile. People show up that I know and have recently talked to in real life but never on Facebook. The guy that I like even shows up and believe it or not, I don't feel the need to ever look at his page either.

They aren't people that I look at, but I know that some of them look at me. I don't comment on their Walls or like their pics or anything like that either. Some ppl seem to be random. Does anyone have any personal experiences?

i think its sorta random. cuz some of the people on there r my really good friends who i chat and post with but some ppl i hardly know!!!

Do NOT get the timeline!! It's the worst!! And yes it is random, because this person who is super popular sometime is on the list and she probably wouldn't be lookin at my profile. And she has over 2000 friends. So I think your stalker free(: but however sometimes this girl always shows up and she likes my photos from way back. So.... But anyways please answer my questions!!!(: thanks
