What knowledge is needed to be able to make facebook and mobile apps?
As the question above says, what knowledge is needed to be able to make facebook apps and mobile apps? Is it a computer programmer that would do this or a computer software engineer or something completely different?

to make apps like facebook once should know about the web programming
It includes client side and server side web programming which is done by web application developer.
he has the knowlege of programming languages likejavascript,css,html for client side and php ,java, python perl for serverside and databases(mysql,oracle etc )and the web technology.

Mobile apps:
IPhone application is done in Objective-c language
Anroid applicationn is done in many java language
