Friends posts on Facebook don't appear?

On facebook I can't see all of my fathers statuses. I've searched the web for a while and everything tells me to scroll to the very bottom of my news feed and press 'edit options'. after about five minutes of scrolling I finally got to the bottom nut there is no button there. I've tried everything i know of including going on his timeline but nothing is working. How do i get his posts to appear on my feed?

Please note i can see some of his posts but not all of them.

There might be couple of things. First of all, if you do not mostly engage with your father profile, then all of your father's status will not be visible to your profile.

Secondly, If you father makes couple of list, share only for specific group in his Facebook profile and you are not in that list, then you will not see this updates at all.

These two reasons are most likely to happen.

Another thing you might want to check out with your father is the level of friendship he has set you up on his FB. He might also be sharing some things with only certain group of friends/family.
