'Truth is hate to those who hate the truth'. True or false?

I think it might be more accurate to say that there are none so blind as those who refuse to see. In other words, if a person has made their mind up they have the absolute truth and everybody else is wrong, then nothing will change their mind - unless, of course, God intervenes through the Holy Spirit to open their eyes, unstop their ears and soften their hearts so they may receive the true gospel.

I speak from experience. I was brought up from birth into a staunch Jehovah's Witness family and I was utterly convinced that we alone had the truth and everybody else was part of false religion. Seventeen years ago, and after I had left that organisation, I realised I had been deceived. Now I am branded by the Witnesses as an "apostate" and someone who hates them, just because I try to present what the Bible really says about sin, salvation and Christ Jesus.

This is a classic cult technique of controlling their members. The leaders strive to control how the members behave, what information they have access to, how they think and how they respond emotionally. Check it out in the first link below.

CULT - Any group which has a pyramid type authoritarian leadership structure with all teaching and guidance coming from the person/persons at the top. The group will claim to be the only way to God; Nirvana; Paradise; Ultimate Reality; Full Potential, Way to Happiness etc, and will use thought reform or mind control techniques to gain control and keep their members. A group is called a cult because of their behaviour - they have behavioural patterns that are abusive, controlling and cultic. Check out the information in the other links on how to identify spiritual abuse and manipulation.

I'm very glad you've got out of that particular organisation. I just hope it hasn't destroyed your faith in God, in Jesus and in the Bible. God bless you.

He wasn't truthful or Hateful. But it is said that He was a great Prophet and healer. Since Jesus Christ was the last Prophet, His claim to that would be false. Also being a Pentecostal made Him a little off center.

His beliefs are not true Christianity.
