Can I Download Instagram on a Kindle Fire HDX?

I was planning on buying on the Kindle Fire HDX, I wanted to know if I could Download Instagram or Youtube. Any owners that have the Kindle Fire HDX want to share the info?

The Amazon Kindle HDX uses a very custom made android for Amazon. It can't run any google apps and you can only run Amazon apps on this tablet. In order to get instagram you would need a genuine android tablet such as the Nexus 7 or Samsung Galaxy Tab 3.

You wont be able to find Instagram directly on Amazon app store. But you do have the "insta-fire" which is basically an official client for instagram. The only issue is that it would cost you around 3 bucks.

So to get the instagram app, you'll have to side-load app from other place (no rooting required).

Side-loading merely requires you to install the app from another site. It isn't a hard process at all.
