Why did my ex "unfriend" me on Facebook instead of block me?
My boyfriend and I broke up a couple days ago and he is kind of dramatic and probably mad/sad at me and the situation. Yesterday, he "unfriended" me, but I don't understand why he didn't just block me? And, trust me, he knows the difference between the two.

Additional Details
He took down our pictures. I think he is being spiteful, but I don't know. Then, he "liked" a picture of him on my page, so I know he viewed my page...but then, within 20 minutes, he "unliked" it. WTH?

Also, he changed his status right after we broke up to "single" and the next day took off the "single" and "interested in women" to nothing--no status at all and no more "interested in women"

Plus, he posted the following quote:

"We are never so defenseless against suffering as when we love, never so forlornly unhappy as when we have lost our love object or its love."
What does the quote he posted mean? I am assuming it is in reference to me, but why hasn't he contacted me? Does he miss me at all??

He got very depressed because of you're breakup. I think he didn't block you so that he can still see your account although he can't see that much. It's kind of like being somewhere in the middle. You are still in his mind but he doesn't want to be involved in your life since you two broke up.

1. If he blckd u, he won't be able to see your profile.
2. That's why he just unfriended you
3. If you change your privacy settings to 'friends only' then he won't be able to see your timeline.
He want to spy you.Smile that's it

Wow ...very dramatic boy you had there! I think he has gone a little mad and upset (pretty normal in that situation). I think your best bet would be to either talk to him....or get over him (wait till he stops feeling sorry for himself). other wise not much you can do with a person like that Wink ...The choice my dear... is yours..

he probably wants to leave a "window" open in case you decide to take him back. blocking you completely means he seriously and completely lost interest in you. but just unfriending you means he still has second thoughts.
