add a friend on facebook

I added a friend on facebook weeks ago, but today I saw"friend requested" became"add as friend" again,does that mean he rejected the friend request?
well,thank you then. at first, he asked me to add him,but actually I've never use facebook before,so I applied an account for him. I just can't understand why he asked then rejected?
at first he told me to search his name,but I couldn't find him,then he told me about the details of his profile, finally ,I found him,but he rejected it? can somebody tell me what it means..

Yes, you can re-request if you like - it may be that they clicked "ignore" by mistake, but I would say if it happens again, they really meant it! :/

Yes, that means they rejected it.
Some people are really subborn, as being friends on facebook doesn't mean you actually have to talk to them all the time. Being a facebook contact really isnt that big of a deal.. so don't take it to heart.
Try sending the request again, if it gets rejected, ah.. who cares.. add someone else!
