Are the little ads on the side of my facebook random?
I ALWAYS get ads of engagement ring companies. Idk why. I have googled engagement rings before just to see how pretty they are so does google relate to facebook in any way? Do the ads correlate with what I google? I'm so confused! I'm scared my boyfriend saw it and think i'm a freak who's trying to lok for engagement rings lol

Yes, google coordinates adwords and adsense with your google searches. However, it will not say "you googled engagement rings, so here are some ads." If you google more things, they will eventually go away. I have had this many times, I even googled Jimmy Johns once, and had ads for a day or two. There is nothing to worry about!

they are based on content - if you dont want to see ads, just install adblock
|

lol. The ads on FB are NOT random. They are based on the likes you have and the your friends likes. Thats why underneath some ads you will see the friends who liked them. If you clean your cache and fire up FB again, they will be random until you search for something, then it will start all over again.
