friend's emails are not getting through to me?

I'm in regular contact with a friend whose e-mails always got through before. Now, for about a week, he can't get through to my Yahoo account. His e-mails are being returned. It took four tries before he was able to get through to an alternative Yahoo address for me. But he still can't get through to the account we have always used, and now he can't get through to either account. His e-mails are being returned as undeliverable.
Is the problem on his end or on my end?

One of the reasons you would not receive them is because they are being spammed...Check your spam folder and if you find them in there open them up and click on NOT SPAM...Once done this email and any subsequent emails will go
to your INBOX.
