There is the main Twitter timeline, which is the home screen of your Twitter account. It shows you the updates/tweets from the people you follow in chronological order (most recent at the top).

There is also your timeline, which only shows your tweets.

To look back on what you've Tweeted about it's like the one on FB but it adds more to it. And if you do get it, don't. It's going to annoy you.
