Stay home, people have died on the roads. Not a great idea and possibly being stuck in the snow for hours... not worth it. Some people ran home for 5 miles because they ran out of gas.

Just stay in your warm home. then the next day bring out the "puss in Boots" eyes on your professors explaining that you had no mode of transportation other than walking through such treacherous conditions. use those exact words though
