Is every friendship like this? (Sorry it's so long)?

So I've been best friends with this girl for about 2 years now. The only problem is, everyone can tell we secretly don't like each other! We are always trying to make each other jealous. We are always trying to out-do each other. But lately things are getting worse! She would go places without me and send me pics of her so I would know she left me out. And then I would turn around and rub my boyfriend in her face bc she just lost hers. And then she would turn around and tell me how bad my body is compared to hers. And then she would keep mentioning how she messed with my brother behind my back, knowing it makes me furious. And it keeps going back and forth. We only do this over text and social media though! In person we are total best friends! We are always by each other's side and we always have each other's back. It's just when we are behind a screen that the claws come out. Is this a normal teenage thing? Or does this a friendship need to go? I love her and hate her at the same time

if your friendship is going to continue this rivalry theres no point a friend is suppose to be someone you can rust and lean towards when u need help .you cantest her is she cares about you even when u don't rly like each other is she doesn't just drop her there are many girls who want that best friend u can trust. if you enjoy the relationship u guys have at the moment the..at the end of the day its ur choice .goodluck

Hahah this happens with me and my bud I hate that bastard on texts so what I did is now I don't even text him I only talk to him in person or video chats or headset when we play games, just limit your conversations through social media it'll help it helped with me....
