Can you add a custom app to a Facebook group?
I am a manager of roughly 50-60 associates all ranging from the ages of 17-20 years old. Due to the age group, some lack the responsibility/common sense to follow company policies such as getting their shift covered if they are unable to come in. So I wanted to create a Facebook Group with strict Admin control so I can allow/deny people into the group. I would create a Facebook Page however, a lot of the information I want to have displayed in the group is somewhat confidential and allowed for employees only.
Long story short, I want to create a custom tab for the Facebook group that would act like a custom tab for a Facebook page. I know how to create a canvas page/custom app for a Facebook page but for the life of me I can not figure out how to add it to my Facebook group. All I want is convenience for these people so if they had a question about a company policy or need to look up their schedule, they can just click the group, click the tab and see an iFrame website with how-to's and the company's associate handbook.
I know I can add documents, add events and ask questions but I'm looking more for convenience. I don't want my associates to have to download the documents to their phones basically. I just want them to be able to look at the information like a website. So is this even possible? Or do I have to suffer with Facebook group documents?

no, that is not possible - groups cannot be connected to apps - apps can only be used on pages
