Whats the difference between Twitter and Facebook?

Hmm? I never understood why so many of my friends left Facebook for twitter..

I personally think that facebook is better because it lets you do more things. Twitter is probably famous because many celebrities have it and you can keep up with their news.

In both twitter and fb you can post pictures and people make comments underneath
In fb you can write a lot but in twitter only up to 100-150 characters
In twitter you follow people instead of becoming their friends

Twitter just makes it easier to stay in contact with friends and always be connected. I personally like Facebook better because there's not as much pressure to be online all the time and updating my status. On Twitter, the whole point is to always be tweeting and staying in contact. I just wouldn't know what to tweet about. Unless you're famous to some extent and have followers, there's no reason for people to care what you tweet about.
