Why Do People Hate One Direction?

I don't know them as people. I don't actively HATE their stuff; I just don't listen, so I don't like it, either. The only time I know I heard their stuff is when they were on SNL and I couldn't help but to hear it. At least they're not HARD metal.

I guess everyone has different perspectives. Me, personally, don't like their music and find it quite 'childish'. I feel that every song of there's is so similar, this is just my opinion.
this what I hate, but I would say they are nice people.

I'm not a huge fan of their music either but they're still okay and have talent. I like them as people and they do a lot for others. It's the same with Justin Bieber, people hate on him but he does a lot for charity and for other people and can sing but again, I am personally not a huge fan on his music and I don't hate on other people who do like his music.

And it's kind of a fail when people say JB and 1D etc. are gay when they have girlfriends / ex-girlfriends.
