Why can I still chat on Facebook even though I'm Block? HELP ! PLease !?

All right this question might sound weird. But currently I have been block on Facebook for 30 days. But I can't "like" or "comment" or "message". Whenever I try do this, Facebook tells me that I am block. I can still send a message through the chat bar only or chat with my friends. I'm scare that I am violating Facebook punishment. But when I chat with my friends, Facebook does not warn me about being block. In fact, the message goes through. Except I can't message my friends directly through the actual Facebook app because Facebook tells me I'm block. Am I violating the rules somehow? I'm so confused..please help me. Thank you.
Oh will my account be permanently disabled because technically I'm using the Facebook chat feature?

Facebook Chat app uses different protocol for sending/receiving message that Facebook app. That's the reason you are able to chat but not use Facebook app.

I don't think Facebook will disable your account unless you are doing something wrong. AFAIK, you are fine.
