Any Marketing Ideas For a Nutrition Store?
Hi, I own a nutrition store where we sell all natural vitamins and supplement. Currently times are alittle slow right now and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for a marketing strategy to pick up the sales?
Thanks in advance
Thanks for all the answers ... I like the school answer. I think next sept im going to look into doing presentation for the parents and kids for free to educate them and at the same time hand out coupons. Also we have chiro's and acupuncturist, nutritionist, massage therapist at our store so we can't go to to many other competitors to hand out flyer's to give to their customers. We also just begun a loyalty program which seems to be working really well. People are loving it! I was thinking of going to the radio stations and asking them about having a health tip once a week that was sponsored by my store. What your opinion on that? I also like having the idea about having the coupons on our website and having special deal directly on the website im going to look into that. Thanks for everything

Chiropractors and Holistic healers! Contact them, offer money off coupons for their clients and offer to carry their coupons and recommend them in your store. This way both of you build up your businesses,

To get yourself some extra sale sin this economic crunch you are really going to have to spread yourself out as far as you can without breaking yourself in the process.

I notice that you didn't state whether or not you have a website for your store and you may think that the internet is already inundated with too much information and websites on supplements as it is. I do not argue that, however how many of your existing customers or past customer would be more likely to return or purchase if you had online specials that they could gain by ordering through your website. You could even decide to send out a monthly newsletter. This will allow you to keep yourself in the face and minds of your previous customers and by offering coupons that they can use in your store, you will increase the foot traffic back to your shop.

Yes, EzineArticles.com is good, however you can get buried by the thousands of articles they get each and every day. You may want to consider using a more niche website like http://www.pr.com to get some free information out on your business as well.

These are just a couple of simple ideas, but there is much, much more that a small business can do in this market to grow, my yahoo screen name is the same is swapitall and feel free to message me if you need any additional direction.

Hope this helps.

Hello there,

This is Ashkan Sobhe, CEO & founder of IT Chair ( http://www.itchair.com ). My personal recommendation would be the Internet. There is nothing better than Internet Marketing these days. It is absolutely free and it is the most effective.

If you would like tips to how to do this for free, you may take a look at my blog: http://www.marketingchair.com

I would suggest you sign up for Social Networking websites and get exposure that way. I hope you have a website, if you don't you can send me an email and I can tell you how to get one for free or for very little money ( info@itchair.com ).

Social networking sites are FaceBook, MySpace, Twitter and etc. This works great! Trust me on this one.

I hope this helps.

Best of luck,
Ashkan Sobhe
