I Need A Camcorder!!!!!! WHAT DO I GET HELP!!!!!?

I really need a camcorder. I am new to this and i will be editing videos that will be shot on a tripod from a camcorder. The edits i will be filming are snowboarding action edits. Therefore i need something with a fast frame rate due to slo motion shooting. I would like to take clear still from the video. Most importantly I WANT CLEAR VIDEOS!!!! I tried a go pro hero 3+ black, hated the video quality. Whats something that serves my purpose under the price of $550 dollars!!! I want to format the videos to mp4. files through handbrake to put on Instagram. It would also help if i can control the camera from my iPhone but thats not the issue. I would EXTREMELY Appreciate it due to the long research i have done and found nothing because i don't know too much about cameras! THANK YOU (:

I would strongly recommend Canon Vixia HFM31. It's the best, full hd camcorder that I've tried.

If you "hated" the video quality of the Hero GoPro 3+ black, you won't find much in your price range that offers anything better - especially for the high frame rate capture. You did not tell us why you "hate" the GoPro's image. I know several folks who use them professionally for specific fast action and they get awesome video.

If you are expecting excellent, pro-grade video quality for slow motion, and the best that GoPro has to offer is not enough, then the next step is to the Phantom Flex from Vision Research. Abelcine has them available... They start at about $50,000. Lenses are added. Budget about $70,000 for entry level. Renting for specific projects me be more cost effective.
