I was with this guy for 1 1/2... He was nice at first but come to find out he was bi polar and totally psycho...I'm a very compassionate person and I wanted to help him and not give up on him like he had said everyone else has..I tried to distance myself from him for my own safety because I knew he was unpredictable..He would say mean hurtful things and like most people with bi polar the next minute he'd be sweet again..I found out through his facebook he had been with TONS of other females..Meeting random gross girls off the internet and sleeping with them..(thank god I never slept with him) that was it for me..I decided to leave him...The problem is now he's randomly emailing me and harrassing me and telling me things like "your an attention whore and a sl*t, ugly, i deserved to be cheated on and everythings my fault, talking crap about any picture on fb saying i'm just trying to get attention..." I'm having a really hard time getting over the hurt of being cheated on and trying not to contact him but his constant emailing and threats and everything makes it so much harder..I just want him out of my life and to have time to heal...He's already hurt me so much and now he's being mean for no reason..he'll randomly tell me he slept with a girl on my birthday or while I was in the hospital..and laugh about it..I dont understand? I just moved to a new town and have very few friends so no one to really talk to..on top of dealing with the pain he caused i'm dealing with him belittling me now..I just dont know what to do..

Unfriend him, and block him from your facebook page, obviously. If he continues, threaten him with a harassment lawsuit.

Change your email block him from Facebook and change your phone number too for safety, on the brighter side think that you didn't sleep with him so don't be hurt about him cheating on you. I know you may feel used but just forget him. He's telling you those awful things now cause he's bipolar my brother is bipolar and I know how they are. He's telling you he cheated on you on your birthday so you get hurt cause he is, he's insane ! Don't listen and move on be happy you found out now and not later.
