How can I remove twitter feeds from Yahoo messenger?
I have deactivated my twitter account and my friends say they see tweets on yahoo messenger under my name. How can I remove that?

It sounds like these are transferred to Yahoo Messenger under your Status Updates. Here is how to change your Updates to suit yourself. BUT, please note, once transferred to YM, they can take a couple of days to clear. I had one which took 5 days to clear once I stopped sharing Updates:

TO STOP YOUR OWN UPDATES APPEARING:

Click on "Messenger" in the top left hand corner of the Messenger Pane.

Click on "Manage Updates I Broadcast".

This will take you to your Profile page. (Now called Pulse).

UNTICK the box "Share my Updates".

Click on "Save" at the bottom of the page.

You can also choose which Updates you want to share from your Pulse page. To do this, click on the "Settings" tab. Then click on "Manage Updates" under "Updates". If you want to share some of them, TICK the box "Share my Updates". Choose the ones you want to share and then click on "Save" at the bottom of the page.

TO MANAGE THE UPDATES FROM YOUR CONTACTS:

Click on "Messenger" in the top left hand corner of the Messenger Pane.

Click on "Preferences".

Click on "Yahoo Updates".

Click on the box "Customise Yahoo! Updates".

Untick the boxes next to your Contacts' names for the updates you do not wish to see.

Click on "OK" at the bottom.
