Having trouble understanding how to control what is and is not displayed on my Facebook Profile page?

There has been a few photo's and shares where I am not tagged but my name has been used in the description of the photo (and fb has recognised it) and yet it isn't displaying on my profile, how do I control this...

I have been into and adjusted setting's within 'timeline and tagging settings' I do have the reviewing of things going onto my timeline and tags in photo etc set to on, which I do want to control, may this have something to do with it?

How do I review and approve I also assumed fb would notify and link me and i would just approve or disapprove or do i need to do this somewhere?

hope this makes sense normally good with social networking computers have googled it and gotten nothing, didn't look to hard, figured some one would no what im on about

Yea Because you Have That Turned on it Will Not Show up On your Profile Until you Approve the Tag you Will See a Notifcation on your Facebook that you been Tagged into Something on Timeline Review you Can Approve it if you Dont See the Notifcation Try Going to Activity Log Than Click on Review and it will Show you Tags That you Need to Approve
