how can you tell if someones viewing your facebook profile?

i mean, i heard that if someone appears on your news feed a lot then it means that they view your facebook profile.. is that true? and if you know any other little ways of telling whos viewing your profile plese tell me??

No, you cannot tell who has viewed your profile

No, that's not true. And no, there's no way to tell who's currently viewing your profile unless they leave evidence (wall posts, picture comments, or note comments). Facebook considers it an invasion of privacy. Sorry.
