facebook question, i just got it?

i just got facebook 2day and my dad says i should keep my profile private. how do only have my profile seen by only my added friends??? please let me know ASAP!!! best answer: 10 pts.

settings > privacy (manage) > profile > only friends for all you want it to apply too.

Ok after logging in , click "settings" in the top right corner , then a drop down menu pops up click "privacy settings" ,,, then click "profile",, then set all of them to "Only Friends"..........Also if you dont want RANDOM PEOPLE to see your pic , on there go to ,,,, SETTINGS > privacy settings >search > and uncheck my profile picture ,,,,

2. click privacy settings.
3. click profile.
4. change everything to only friends
5. save settings.

6. repeat 1. and 2.
7. click news feed and wall.
8. click on facebook ads.
9. select no one.
10. save changes.
