Need urgent help with my processor?
My question is does the "cool 'n' quiet" option keep your processor cooler under load? My processor is been getting really hot really fast even in old games that don't take up that much cpu power. Could it be because this is enabled?

Also should I turn CPU Q-Fan mode to turbo???

I am using a stock cooler
The cpu is brand new (just build it a week ago)
No overclocks
1 fan (intake) although I have a standard fan next to a vent to keep it cool.
I downloaded minecraft just to test it out and it went up to 55c and with the software I am using(speedfan) it had a little fire sign next to it so i reckon it would have went to 60c and over. People say thats normal but people say max temps the amd processor can go are 61c?
Anyway I downloaded an old game used to play called total annihilation(rts from 1998) no way this could be causing my processor to reach 53c?
Also I don't care how loud the fan goes just alongs it keeps my cpu cool.

I need the entire components of your system to give you a better response. Is your power supply enough for your system? Did you correctly apply the thermal paste? Are all of the fans working correctly? What size case do you have, do you have enough cooling for you case? Are cords properly managed, or at least not causing air flow issues?

If you need any help you can contact me for free at https://www.facebook.com/pages/NBSN/205302762950470
Please include the link to your yahoo question so I can know what the issue is and I will respond as quickly as I can. Typically you will receive a response within an hour, but it will depend on total workload.
