Can someone give me tips on door to door sell?
I'm working for the foundation that helps Children struggling and help promote education in teens in the community. They want me to sell tickets for $5 to a soup festival. A lot of people are uninterested in the Flyers are not very inviting. I'm trying my hardest to convince them and tell them it's for a good cause and that this this will be fun but nobody wants to buy it. The lady thinks I'm not trying because I haven't sold 5 in a week but I am! Is just that times are hard in my neighborhood but what can I do to convince people more to buy it.

Get a different job. Door to door sales is as popular as telemarketer phone calls.

Don't sell door to door. Target 10 fairly rich people and ask them to buy four tickets each that they can give out to friends and family.

Going door-to-door is counter-productive; it makes people mad at you and at the foundation that stupidly sent you out.
Find out who runs the local banks and stores. Contact them to find out if they know anyone who ALREADY supports the cause... then followup with a sales pitch for how they can help even more. |

The better way is to do it online and save you time.
1) Setup a Facebook fan page for the event. I assume you have a Facebook account already 2) Setup a campaign to target your geo area. 3) Run a Sweepstakes which will give away a few tickets a day for free. |
