On my blackberry tour, my facebook notifications are messed up. Please help! Details in the question..?

I just got my blackberry tour a few days ago, and I downloaded facebook. It works just fine, but my notifications only tell me things that I do. For example it tells me that I posted a status or wrote on someone's wall instead of someone commenting on my status or writing on my wall.
My brother got the same phone and his works fine, and his notifications tell him when people post things FOR HIM. Please help!!!!!
