did he lie about liking me(shy guy question)?

So my friend was on Facebook and she found the guy I like and added him and chatted with him she asked"do you like Harley back?" He responded with " hell no" later we asked" why do you sit by her on the bus then?" He get off after that.
I'm pretty sure he's shy and he never talks to me and yes I know we shouldn't have asked if he liked me back cause it was stupid but do u think lied because he stares at me and is always hanging around when he can like on the bus he sits close to me but not too close and in science for a lab he was working with our group even though he wasn't supposed to and he would glance at me and talk softly when I was around.
Did he lie about not liking me? I'm really confused! Help!

Yeah he probably didn't want to admit that he actually liked you...especially not to someone else. I'm sure if you were to talk to him sometime you'd find out. You're probably really attractive so of course he's going to be into you. In fact, I'd say he's probably wishing you'd just break the ice, show some interest and talk to him. I was shy in school and many times I'd be interested in girl but just couldn't bring myself to make the first move and hoped they would. I eventually got over it though. But yeah you should talk to him if you like him.
