This present version will not print any email messages. Or open any FACEBOOK messages I receive?

No, you cannot return to a previous format of Yahoo Mail. Yahoo Mail Classic and all previous and older versions of Yahoo Mail have been discontinued and are no longer available.

You have the option of switching to basic mail. Basic is similar to an early version of Yahoo Mail Classic. It's very simple design is easy to use but is lacking many advanced features only available on full featured.

To switch to basic mail:

On your Yahoo Mail page, hover over the gear icon in the upper right corner
Select Settings
Viewing email
Basic
Save

This Yahoo Help article explains how to print emails:

Print an email in Yahoo Mail -- http://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?page=cont...id=SLN3389

You may need to enable SSL - also known as HTTPS - in your mail settings:

Go to Yahoo Mail, hover over the gear icon in the upper-right corner
Select Settings
Select Security
Check the box next to "Always use https"
Click Save

If you cannot open messages or print emails there may be an issue with your web browser. You may need to clear your cache and cookies, enable or update Javascript or adobe flash player, adjust your security settings or disable add-ons. Please try each of the steps in this Yahoo Help article to determine the cause:

Be sure you are using the newest version of your web browser or switch to a different web browser. For a list of web browswers and links to upgrade your current web browser or download a new web browser:
