How do I market a company to other companies?
I'm a marketing intern at a print and design company in Cyprus. They are a print company that operate from Limassol and provide high quality print services within southern Cyprus. The company currently provides a third of the main services required to display an advert: advertising companies take on clients and design the promotions, this company then prints the designs and then a third company provide the advertisement space.

I am in charge of starting a marketing campaign to raise awareness of the company so that we can increase our business and take on new clients. I have studied marketing during my degree but only on a level where I'm trying to market one product to the general public. What is the terminology to describe a company that sells primarily to other companies and not to the general public and does anyone have any ideas on how I can do this?

I have looked into advertising on Facebook but then realised that that is again to the general public and not many people are going to want to 'Like''a printing company...

I've been sat in this chair thinking for a week now...

Help me please!

If you have studied marketing, I don't think I'll tell you anything new. But you might have been overthinking this. For what it's worth -

I think the term you're looking for is B2B.

Look through your research and pick one prospective client. Then invite their purchasing manager (or whichever manager would make the purchasing decisions) to lunch (or coffee, or tea, or ???). Develop a relationship with him and try to arrange a sale. The manager will have questions. When you get back to the office, write these questions down. Your marketing campaign should address these questions. If you still draw blanks, arrange lunch with another purchasing manager. And so on.

Depending on your knowledge of the product, you may want to invite another employee to come with you once you've established the relationship.

Good luck.
