Is his best friend trying to date me or just wants to talk ?!?

So I had an argument with a boy name Carlos we were planning on dating but we had an argument so we stopped talking . This all happened on Facebook basically , I met him in person with his best friend name Jose . I blocked both him and Jose even though Jose didn't do anything but yeah . Jose seemed sneeky at first but started being friendly to me I don't know his deal . So after a few weeks later after the argument and blocking both of them on Facebook , Jose called my name loud from behind . I blocked him on Facebook so why would he do that ? , even though we don't have a problem with each other I think its strange . Like as I was waling to class once he saw me then said hi and after I said hi in a nice way he smiled like "I got this".

I would still be concerned. He might be trying to get information for HIS friend.
