IPhone/Facebook App Help!?

I downloaded the Facebook app on my IPhone but for some reason when I click into a friend's profile it only shows me posts involving pictures. Like it will say " Jane Doe was tagged in John Doe's album". It won't show any other post. It doesn't ever show Jane Doe and John Doe are now friends or Jane Doe posted on John Doe's Wall. Is there a setting or something I can change to allow me to see all posts like you would on a regular computer or is this normal for the IPhone?
Well I tried deleting it and reinstalling it but its the same way. So, I am assuming its probably just a glitch or just poorly designed. Thanks for your advice!

try deleting it and re download

It could be because that person has blocked you from viewing their statuses or they simply haven't done anything besides been tagged in photos

I regularly use the app and I can always see status updates.The Jane Doe is now friends won't show up on their profile but it will show up on the news feed
