How To Start A Youtube Channel?
If you go to my yahoo answers profile, you can see that i have impersonated photographers, gun enthusiasts, and other people to gain information. One of my last questions was about how to raise money. You see, my buddies and I were trying to start a gaming channel on YouTube, and they thought we needed to make about $10k to buy equipment. I said F**K no, and after an altercation between two of us, I left.
Fast-forward a month, and I want to start a personal YouTube channel. I have experience with making the videos, but I have some limitations:
1. I only have 4 categories to choose from (Computers/tech, gaming, guns, and coin collecting/silver bullion.)
2. I am 13 (so I can't get a job or have that much free time after school)
3. As you know, tech is expensive, and I can't afford it. I can't do gun videos because of family reasons. My coins aren't that interesting. I am terrible at most video games (except for minecraft.)
4. My parents won't let me make a twitter or show my face on youtube.
5. My voice sounds like an 8 year old with helium added.
6. I can't afford a decent camera/laptop/other equipment.
7. Editing: I can edit (i learned from a professional), but I can't afford the software, even with the student discounts.
8. I have to be self sufficient. No help from parents or friends.
9. School. No time to make/edit videos, even if I do my homework half ass.
10. Popularity. How will I get subscribers/views?
11. Basic Facts. I am 13, in school, and only have $200 saved for all this.

I would like any advice or help. Thank You
I saw this video about a month ago. Even though it is unrelated, I like the aspects of soundtrack, transitioning, and coloring, along with the timelapses and everything

Considering your limitations, starting a channel with be very, very hard. If you look at my YouTube channel (http://www.youtube.com/officialnerdcubed
I would reccomend that you do gaming videos, although they're very popular so this makes it even harder to get noticed (but as long as you're having fun, this shouldn't matter!) I reccomend this because it seems the best option for you. Also, what I did was limit myself to one video every few days, so I had time to do homework and schoolwork. Finally, I have not shown my face in any of my videos since I started, so that doesn't matter. Also, Twitter isn't essential!
I hope this helps you and if you have any other questions, then ask!
Thanks,

1. Good luck gaining channel traction with those over used categories.
2. There goes your potential funding if you can't get a job.
3. If tech is expensive, and you can't get a job or find funding, forget about it. If you can't do three of your previously mentioned topics, you have no basis for a channel anyway, so you're wasting your time to be honest.
4. Twitter is completely unrelated and unnecessary for a YouTube channel. Not showing your face is not a problem...tons of other people do it.
5. Prepare to be ignored on YouTube since your voice will be annoying to the vast majority of people.
6. Again, you're out of luck and have no way to create/capture content.
7. Out of luck again if you can't afford the software you want (even though there are plenty of open source alternatives)
8.
9.
10. For these three points, I have this to say: you're doomed from the start, so don't even try.
11. You're broke, so don't bother.

Advice? Don't waste your time or energy on something that you will only see yourself fail at since you can't afford the equipment, can't get financial help from others, don't have the time, and can't do anything that hasn't been done thousands of times over already on YouTube.
