Is Google+ like Twitter??
Well I've had Twitter for a time now and I'm pretty active on it. But I wanted to start using Google+ but don't really know how to start or how it all works, it kinda look like twitter so is it the same?? You follow people and see what they do??? But how to get "followers" yourself???

Google+ and Twitter may be similar but they're also completely different.

Google+ is like a combination of Facebook along with Twitter and YouTube. You can chat, video chat (with multiple people too), like (+1), share, post events, tag (+) and hashtag (#yolo #sweg). They also have their version with Twitter's worldwide trends with "What's Hot?", which includes popular posts plus trending #'s.

Google+ allows you to upload photos, including gifs, and upload videos, both of which can be viewed easily. There's also communities on Google+ similar to groups on Facebook. Instead of gaining followers or adding friends, you add people into your circle, which is easily divided into several categories like Friends, Family, etc.

To make more people add you into their circles, it's similar to Twitter, get popularity by first adding others into your circles and get them to slowly add you into their circles, making their friends notice you or by making popular or trendy posts that would cause someone to add you into their circles similar to posting a tweet that would make someone follow you on Twitter.
