how do I change these privacy things on facebook?

I have only just got facebook, I've been adding all my friends, uploading photos etc. but when I clicked on "view profile as (I chose a random friend)" ...I realised they can't see any of the comments I have written on people's timeline (that should show on my wall) and you can only see my profile photos if you are a friend, i want to change that

I'm not facebook savvy yet as you can probably tell
the privacy settings is where i am stuck, how do I change what is shown on my wall and my photos

ok go to the arrow in the top right at the home page. then go on privacy settings and everything
you need is there any more questions just ask well if they haven't confirmed the friend request they cant but something tells me that's not the problem. try timeline and tagging and read the different options

they arent supposed to be able to see the comments you make on other peoples' timelines...
