Why does Search say no emails found for a Sender when I have multiple emails from that particular Sender?
I have tried to search my e-mails so I can get all together messages from a particular sender so I can delete them all at once or move them to a particular folder all at once. It does not matter what search method I use, even the advance search method, if I try to look for all e-mails from people or social media, all it ever says it no emails found. But I have over 500 e-mails to sort through and I am having to do it one by one, which is horribly time consuming and excrutiatingly slow. Any suggestions on how to make search work?

Search is one of the options in the below answer, but there have been MANY problems with the Search box...other ways mentioned below should help

To display the options you can get by SORT BY DATE
in the older format do the following. Hover the pointer
over the GEAR...upper right. Click on SETTINGS....
Click on VIEWING EMAIL..remove, if any, check
marks to the left of Enable Conversations/Show snipet
...click SAVE

Now when your inbox is displayed click on VIEW
above your emails on the right side to bring up the
drop down menu with those options.

NOTE: using the option in this drop down menu will
bring up your ENTIRE email list in alphabetical order
of the Senders name.

If you want to bring up emails for a particular sender...try these
=========================================
Enter the email address or the senders name in the Search Mail
box above your inbox emails
=========================================
Hover your pointer over the email address or the name
associated with it in your inbox and click on what looks like an
magnifying glass...This will bring up all the messages
=========================================
Click on the email address in an opened email and
click on SEARCH FOR MESSAGES FROM
=========================================
You can use FILTERS...
To access Filters hover your pointer over the gear UPPER
RIGHT.. .. Click on SETTINGS (newest format)MAIL OPTIONS
(new format)Go to the left...click on Filters.
