How do I remove the "Ads not by facebook" that's on my timeline and newsfeed?

No, these ads are not the regular ads that facebook has. They're banners that follow the page.
I've already googled it and it says for chrome you go to Window - Extensions - and remove add ons, but mines not even there... Nothing shows up for add ons. The only thing I have there is "Fast Save". So, I'm pretty confused on what I'm supposed to do.

Check the stuff you downloaded from the time you started to see this adds, also you can check the installed tool bars if you are using google chrome go to options-> settings->extensions then check what you have and disable it also you can uninstall it from the control panel!
